  • Is my business too small to benefit from decarbonisation?
    No business is too small to make a difference. We will work with you to set meaningful emissions reductions targets that are backed up by data. This means we can identify emission hotpots within your organisation. For instance, by just analysing your heating and lighting and then suggesting achievable and affordable changes, can reduce bills by up to 13%. We can work with you to improve your operational efficiency and be more innovative through sustainability This can enhance your business reputation to become a more attractive supplier and employer.
  • Is decarbonisation necessary for my business?
    Decarbonisation not only helps the planet but can also save costs in the long-term. Plus, having an appropriate sustainability strategy is also increasingly a prerequisite for fulfilling public sector contracts. Therefore as Government and Tier 1 organisations move towards their own net zero goals they are looking closer at their supply chains decarbonisation strategies, and this could affect your ability to win contracts.
  • What makes trac-C different from other sustainability consultancies?
    trac-C is a collaboration between two pioneering consultancy companies, BIC Innovation and Greener Edge, to provide a unique suite of support packages to take you on your decarbonisation journey. Providing an exceptional decarbonisation review into your carbon footprint and giving you the understanding, awareness, and know-how on how you, and your company, can make improvements and realise clear cost benefits from your investment. We also ensure you get access to the data analytics we conduct, ensuring you have a benchmark to measure against in the future – we provide this as part of the package, ensuring you have no additional charges and full transparency/access to your data.
  • How long does the process take?
    Depending on your business size and complexity (no. of buildings etc) our packages can be completed within a month from receipt of your data. Our more detailed and comprehensive packages for larger companies can still be turned around 3 months.
  • How much disruption will this cause my business?
    We fully recognise you have other priorities when it comes to running your business day-to-day. To make sure you get the most value out of our service we ask that you complete our initial data request form as soon as possible so our carbon analysts can begin their work. Thereafter all the work until the review meeting (or more detailed strategic implementation/marketing sessions) can be completed with minimal disruption to your operations.
  • What happens to my data?
    Your data will be stored confidentially on our Cyber Essentials Certified system. We ensure that our customers understand our calculations regarding your carbon footprint. These will be made available to you at the end of the project. We are fully transparent in our methodology.
  • I want to decarbonise but cannot afford it right now, can you still help me?
    We have a range of pricing options and our prices are highly competitive. We recognise not every business can afford to pay upfront, therefore we take 40% payment at project start and 60% upon completion. If this still is not suitable, we can help find funds to support decarbonising your business. What is important to stress is that if your are a supplier to government related contracts this could affect your ability to win contracts so is a critical investment. We look at every way you can get return on your investment with cost savings.
